Rosé for the Bay—A Wine in Support of Baykeeper

Rose for the Bay

Every year, Obsidian Wine Co. crafts a special pinot noir rosé in honor of San Francisco Bay—Rosé for the Bay.

The grapes are fittingly grown in a foggy wetland location of Obsidian’s vineyard and give extra quality and a Bay character to this special rosé.

Plus, 100% of proceeds from Rosé for the Bay goes to Baykeeper—so you're supporting the Bay with your purchase!

The 2021 vintage is now available for purchase online (In checkout, look for "How did you hear about us?" and select "SF Baykeeper"), as well as from select wine merchants. The new 2021 rosé evokes a perfect day by the Bay: fresh and clean as an ocean breeze, crisp with a touch of salinity that begs for an oyster, and just enough supple, sun-kissed fruitfulness to pleasantly while away a relaxing afternoon.

Peter Molnar, co-founder of Obsidian Wine Co., is Chair of Baykeeper’s Leadership Circle and a lifelong sailor and Bay swimmer who is passionate about supporting the Bay and our work. “We hope to continue to farm beside a rich, vibrant, and healthy San Francisco Bay," says Peter. "Baykeeper has tirelessly defended the Bay from pollution and fought to restore its health, and that’s why we have dedicated this wine to Baykeeper.”
